Discovery.com brings the wonders of exploration to Discovery Channel superfans who are passionate about science, tech, nature, and the world around them. My design team created the new web experience to integrate seamlessly with the Discovery TVE site, offering customers both streaming linear programming and rich content. The site’s immersive home page and navigation were designed to serve as a blueprint for the company’s entire portfolio of O&O sites.

The fresh, new home page puts video front and center with a fully immersive experience to support big events, like Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week and its exploration of life in the Serengeti.

Visitors rarely enter a site through its front door. A persistent flyout navigation presents a traveling version of the home page, promoting trending and seasonal content no matter where the customer is browsing.
